Sarah Miller
Sarah H. Miller, 92, of Baltic, died Feb. 2, 2011, at the residence, following a brief illness.
Sarah was born Sept. 30, 1918, in Holmes County, to the late Peter E. and Mattie D. Hershberger. She was a homemaker and a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Surviving are a son, Melvin H. Miller of Majora Lane Nursing Home, Millersburg; brothers, John Hershberger of Winesburg and Levi Hershberger of Big Prairie; sister, Katie P. Hershberger of Sugarcreek; and caregivers, Mahlon and Ada Hershberger of Baltic.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry H. Miller, whom she married Nov. 5, 1946; brother, Dan; and sisters, Edna, Mary, and Martha.
Services were held Feb. 5, at the Mahlon Hershberger residence, with Bishop Delbert Erb officiating. Burial was in Miller Cemetery, Clark Township, Holmes County.
Arrangements were handled by Smith-Varns Funeral Home, Sugarcreek.
