Michael Lee Marsh, 39, of New Philadelphia, formerly of Cadiz and the Tappan Lake area, died Feb. 8, 2011, at his home, following a sudden illness.

Born April 26, 1971, in Dennison, Michael was a son of the late Donald Eugene and Phyllis Ann Marsh. Mike grew up in the Tappan area and attended Conotton Valley High School. He loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing, and was an avid Steelers fan.

Mike is survived by sons, Cruz Lee Marsh of Bolivar and Michael James Marsh of the home; his longtime companion, Mabel Ruckman of the home; brother, Patrick (Angela) Marsh of Dover; half-brothers, Don (Laurie) Marsh of Ottawa Lake, Mich., John (Charlene) Marsh of Maumee, and Rick, David, Danny, Steve, and Mark Zeigert, all of Colorado; half-sister, Wilda (John) Hawker of Holland; and many extended family members, including nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Services will be held at a later date.
