Solid Rock Photos (SRP) of Dover has completed a week of training, teaching, and client recognition at the seventh annual Senior Portrait Artist event. This year’s event was held at the Riviera Resort and Spa in Palm Springs, Calif.

For the second straight year, Solid Rock was recognized for exceptional work with high school seniors and again earned a nationwide regional winner in the annual spa model search. Dover High School senior Pierce Applin was one of 16 winners from across the United States and Canada. Applin was used as a featured model during pre-event instructional sessions as well as different sessions throughout the week.

Solid Rock also had two other Rockstar senior models recognized during the week, as Applin’s twin sister, Paige, and Central Catholic High School senior Ali Seymore were tabbed to model during pre-event and post-event instructional sessions. All three seniors participated in the spa’s signature Lights, Camera, Fashion show.

The SRP staff was also featured at the event. More than 300 leading senior photographers from the United States and Canada heard Solid Rock’s Denny Trimmer speak on partner marketing during a mid-week educational session. Trimmer highlighted his firm’s successful event and promotional partnerships with area businesses like Renaissance Salon, Lavender Bridal, Bread Head Bakery and McKinnon Insurance.
