Indian Hills Christian School to offer daytime open house

From 10 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, March 15, Indian Hills Christian School (housed at the rear entrance of The First Baptist Church at 878 Commercial Ave. SW, New Philadelphia) will host its first daytime public open house. Those interested in learning more about the non-profit, non-denominational Christian school are welcome to attend the open house to tour the classrooms, meet the faculty and enjoy light refreshments.

Open house participants are invited to bring their children to experience part of a typical morning class schedule at Indian Hills Christian School. Delicious selections from the school’s lunch menu will be offered for sampling at the end of each school tour.

This fall the state-chartered school will continue to offer its half-day and full-day preschool classes Monday through Thursday for children who will have turned 4 years old on or by August 15.

Early enrollment registration discounts are currently available for parents/guardians who enroll their preschool and/or kindergarten through sixth grade children. Indian Hills Christian School also offers before and after school care beginning at 7 a.m. and ending at 5:30 p.m. to provide families with flexibility and peace of mind.

Founded in 1972, Indian Hills Christian School provides affordable, quality Christian education for students from towns throughout Tuscarawas County, and busing is available for students from most local school districts. The school offers smaller class sizes and a challenging curriculum taught by state-certified teachers with the goal to provide students with strong academic, Biblical and spiritual foundations. For more information and/or to schedule a private tour, visit http://www.indianhillschristian.org or call the school office at 330-339-1041. Another open house will be offered on Thursday, March 31 from 6-8 p.m.
