Thunder Valley Pioneers elect officers, discuss events
Thunder Valley Pioneers 4-H group held a meeting on March 6 at Indian Valley Elementary School cafeteria in Port Washington at 7 p.m. Cassie Glazer conducted the meeting.
New business that was discussed included Bowl For Kids’ Sake, sponsored by Big Brothers, Big Sisters, safety day at Tuscarawas Warwick Volunteer Fire Department, and club members decided to buy new members club T-shirts.
Officers were also elected at the meeting: Cassie Glazer, president; Kaitlyn Hinds, vice president; Rachel Ghindea, secretary; Brennae Porter, treasurer; Heather Parrish, news reporter; Kelsie Hinds, recreational leader, Adam Quillen, health leader; and Jessica Beamer, safety leader.
The next meeting will be held at Port Washington Elementary School at 7 p.m. on April 10. Enrollment papers are due at the next meeting if not already turned in.
