Senior Kayla Reiter will represent New Philadelphia High School’s student artists at the Ohio Governor’s Youth Art Exhibition.

At the Regional exhibition, held at Dover High School, Reiter and other student artists from area high schools displayed their most accomplished paintings and drawings, photographs, sculptures and digital art. Judges at the exhibition selected two of Reiter’s black and white landscape photographs for inclusion in the State competition, to be held on March 12 at Upper Arlington High School in Upper Arlington.

Reiter’s photographs will compete for two of the 300 spots in the State art exhibition and will be considered for the Governor’s Award of Excellence, the prize given to the 25 most accomplished pieces.

Kayla is the daughter of Rob and Tina Reiter.
