Dale was born May 19, 1958, in Millersburg, to Ursula F. “Sue” and the late Clarence J. Yoder. On Sept. 24, 1978, he married Joy Kasner. They shared 32 years together. Dale had two sons, Kevin (Cassie Vaughan) Yoder of Pomeroy and Brian (Leah Money) Yoder of Newark, and two grandchildren, Gwyneth Yoder and Jackson Yoder, and one grandchild on the way.
Dale had been co-owner of 83 Farm Supply, Millersburg, and had driven truck in the past few years. In 2009, he was licensed by the state of Ohio as an insurance agent and was busy building a successful business. He was an active member of Alpine Bible Church, Sugarcreek, and enjoyed outdoor activities and camping. Dale’s greatest love was for God, his family, and his friends.
Surviving are his wife, sons and daughters-in-law, grandchildren, mother, and brothers, Phil (Linda) Yoder of Killbuck and Wilbur (Teresa) Yoder of Millersburg; sister, Linda E. Yoder of Millersburg; many special nieces and nephews; and his mother-in-law, Nina Kasner of Millersburg.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, his father, and his father-in-law, Robert E. Kasner.
Memorial services will be held April 9, at 11 a.m., at Alpine Bible Church, Sugarcreek, with Pastor Byron Stewart officiating. Burial will be in Gray Ridge Cemetery, Millersburg, at 9:30 a.m. Calling hours will be April 8, from 4-8 p.m., at Alexander Funeral Home.
