The Josephinum, in Columbus, is a four-year liberal arts college and graduate school of theology founded in 1888. It is a seminary that prepares students to become priests in the Roman Catholic Church. The Josephinum is the only pontifical seminary located outside of Italy. It is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and the Ohio Board of Regents.
Nick Davis graduated from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, May 13, with a master of architecture.
For his last semester of graduate school, he conducted a study of a historical neighborhood and designed a minor league baseball stadium for the site for the Nashville Sounds. His model and plans for the stadium were displayed at the Civic Design Center in Nashville and he was interviewed by local newspaper and TV, including WKRN-TV who posted the clip online. The Nashville mayor and city council are reviewing his and other proposals from UT students.
He received his undergraduate degree in architecture from The Ohio State University.
The Davis brothers are graduates of Tuscarawas Central Catholic High School in New Philadelphia, Tony in 2007 and Nick in 2005. They are the sons of Michael A. and Ann Marie Davis, and grandsons of James and Mary Jane Markino, all of Dover.
