Lisa Kellicker would like to announce the opening of Cornerstone Montessori School. Kellicker has worked at Canton Montessori School for 10 years and stated, “I am excited about bringing this educational opportunity to our community.”

Cornerstone Montessori School is now enrolling children age 3-5 years old for the scheduled opening this fall. The Montessori-based preschool program will offer three and five-day programming and will be open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday. The preschool class will offer educational experiences that include practical life, sensorial, language arts, math, geography, art, music and science activities.

What is Montessori? Montessori is a unique educational approach that nurtures a child’s desire to learn. Dr. Maria Montessori’s philosophy focuses on cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. Introducing your child to Montessori as early as possible puts him/her on the right path to becoming a confident, self-motivated learner. The multi-age classroom will be located in the education wing of Dover First United Methodist Church located at 1725 North Wooster Ave., Dover.
