Tuscarawas County 4-H Demonstration Contest

The 2011 Tuscarawas County 4-H Demonstration Contest was held June 28 at J.I.M.’s Place in New Philadelphia. Judges Tina Jones Armstrong, Carol Gregor, Marjorie Hursey and Janet Kemp evaluated individuals and teams on their presentation. Selected winners will represent the Tuscarawas County 4-H program at the Ohio State Fair August 3, where they will compete against other youth throughout the state. Results are as follows:

Junior Individual

1. Name: Emerald Lorenz, 4-H Club: Buckhorn Buckeyes

Title of Demonstration: Hot Diggity Dog Treats

2. Name: Clayton Sprowl, 4-H Club: Buckhorn Buckshots

Title of Demonstration: Derby Dynamics

3. Name: Hannah Reedy, 4-H Club: New Horizons

Title of Demonstration: Winning Showmanship by a Head

4. Name: Jacob McGlumphy, 4-H Club: Stonecreek Peas and Carrots

Senior Individual
