Born May 30, 1957, in Dover, Jacalyn was a daughter of Jack Zinkon of Baltic and the late Virginia Zinkon. She was very creative and had won several awards while employed as a graphic designer at PPI Graphics, Canton.
She was a member of First United Church of Christ, Sugarcreek, and was a 1975 graduate of Garaway High School and the University of Akron. She also enjoyed spending time with her card club ladies.
Surviving are two nieces, Emily Zinkon of Baltic and Amanda Zinkon of Stow; and special friend, Larry Adaska of Portage Lakes.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Lana Zinkon.
Memorial services celebrating Jacalyn’s life will be held July 16, at 11 a.m., at First United Church of Christ, Sugarcreek, with Rev. Anissa Bacon officiating. Burial will follow at a later date in West Lawn Cemetery, Baltic. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services.
