Rolly, Wally, the Spud and the Snake highlight the night atop "The Hill"

Rolly Heyder (10) powered his way into the lead on lap 10 of the $500 Atom's Pest Control Truck feature race at Hilltop Speedway, on Saturday, July 16. Heyder held off the challenge of Kevin Potts and Jack Large (07) to claim his first feature win of the season. The 22-lap feature was in memory of the No. 22 dirt truck driver, Gail 'Wally' Wallace who passed away earlier this season.

Rolly Heyder picked the right night to pull into the winner's circle at Hilltop Speedway for the first time in 2011, as the Galena driver pocketed $500 after powering past Kevin Potts, following lap 10 of the Atom's Pest Control Trucks invitational, holding on for the victory on Guerne Heights Drive-In Night atop "The Hill," on Saturday, July 16.

The feature race was 22 laps long, as a tribute to the late Gail "Wally" Wallace who raced the number 22 truck at Hilltop Speedway before passing away earlier this season, and the victory by Heyder snapped a combined six-race winning streak by the Potts (David and Kevin) and Large (Jack, John and Steve) families.

It was a Lee rolling into the winner's circle at the end of the Holmes Tire Late Models feature, as George Lee caught Eric "Spud" Myers after just two laps, dipping him into the fryer as he passed him on the high groove, eventually finishing ahead of Norm Aronhalt and Justin Chance, as Myers was forced to drop out with only six laps remaining.

Aronhalt would move up a spot to win the Tri-State Modified feature, as the Warsaw driver chased down Rory Reed after two laps and finished with a comfortable lead, despite getting bunched together with the rest of the pack after a yellow flag on lap 11.

The only flags that mattered during the Street Stocks main were green and checkered, as Mt. Vernon driver Kenny Daughriety Jr. led from one to the other, reaching the winner's circle for the second time in 2011 after rebuilding his No. 20, Superman Racing car, following a crash during hot laps the week before.

Steve Miller of Shreve would start the Guerne Heights Drive-In Mini Stocks feature in the second position, after finishing second the during the previous two Mini Stocks features, but he would jump in front on lap one and never look back, carrying his lead all the way to the finish line and driving into the winner's circle for the first time at Hilltop Speedway.

The winner's circle was a familiar place for the youngster, Donovan Dickerson, who had won the last two Mini Wedge features before getting bit by Blake "The Snake" Morris of Zanesville, who raced to victory for the first time in 2011, finishing ahead of Dickerson and Kyler Kidd.

Kidd will hope to move up a couple of spots on Kid's Night at Hilltop Speedway, Saturday, July 23 as there will be prizes and games for youngsters attending, and fans will all be allowed into the pits following Hot Laps and qualifying to get autographs, on the dual-promotion Driver's Autograph Night.
