LeRoy Miller

LeRoy E. “Apple Roy” Miller, 73, of Wilmot, died July 16, 2011, at Aultman Hospital, following a sudden illness.

LeRoy was born August 18, 1937, in Massillon, to the late Elmer K. and Susan Miller. He was a life resident of the area and was retired from Sugardale Meats. He was also the owner/operator of L&M Orchard, Wilmot.

Surviving are his wife, Mattie Miller, whom he married March 23, 1957; daughters, Judy (Bob) Barkan of Wilmot and Joanna (Wil) Bullock of Wayne, W.Va.; son, Terry of the home; five grandchildren, Ryan, Todd, Alisa, Jacquelyn, and Nichole; eight great-grandchildren, Logan, Madison, Noah, Brooke, Grace, Brody, Marleigh, and Kyson; sisters, Amanda (Aden) Miller of Sugarcreek, Sara Mae (Andy) Miller of Mt. Hope, Elma (Henry) Troyer of Apple Creek, and Susie (Ervin) Hershberger of Fredericksburg; and sister-in-law, Esther Miller of Mt. Hope.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Lester Miller.

Services will be held July 20, at 11 a.m., at Wilmot United Methodist Church, with Pastor Joe Wright officiating. Burial will be in East Union Lawn Cemetery, Navarre. Calling hours will be July 19, from 4-7 p.m., at Spidell Funeral Home, Mt. Eaton.
