The Ohio Cardinals (14 years of age), of the Stark/Summit Baseball League, enjoyed a successful season this summer that included two area players, Joe Delcoma of Strasburg and Ashton Hall of Dover. The team’s record was 28-14, and they won three tournaments: The Battle of the 330 Tournament Champions and also the Top Gun Classic, both played at Kent State University in Kent. They also won the Gary Bowen Tournament, which was played at Jackson.
