Malinda Yoder
Malinda Yoder, 89, of Sugarcreek, died August 10, 2011, at her home, following a period of declining health.
Malinda was born March 24, 1922, in Tuscarawas County, to the late Chris J. and Clara Hershberger. She was a member of the Amish Church.
Surviving are children, Rachel (Roy) Kline of Sugarcreek, Ervin (Kenney) Yoder of Richmond, Ky., Ruth Ann (Timothy) Schlabach of the home, and Sanford (Frieda) Yoder of Sugarcreek; 15 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roman A. Yoder, whom she married May 16, 1946; daughter, Laura; great-granddaughter, Brenda; and an infant brother.
Services were held August 12, at the Yoder residence, with Bishop Robert N. Troyer officiating. Burial was in Yoder Cemetery, Sugarcreek Township, Tuscarawas County.
Arrangements were handled by Smith-Varns Funeral Home, Sugarcreek.
