“We have been fortunate that so many businesses continue to value the Expo as an excellent opportunity to market their products and services. Our exhibitor spaces sold out in record time this year,” said Scott Robinson, Tuscarawas County Chamber president. “We anticipate improved attendance as well because of our change in location for the event.”
A Wine Tasting, conducted by Trax Diner, the exclusive caterer to the Performing Arts Center, has been added to the schedule of events. Featured wineries include Breitenbach Wine Cellars, Rainbow Hills Vineyards, Swiss Heritage Winery, Schoolhouse Winery, and Georgetown Vineyards. Tickets to sample the wines will be sold at the cash bar.
There is also an expanded list of food exhibitors including Uncle Primo’s, the Pointe Café, Trax Diner, Union Country Club and the McDonald Marlite Conference Center. Each of them will be offering samples of their favorite recipes and signature dishes.
“To ensure visitors reach all three exhibit areas in the Performing Arts Center, we have paired our food and wine exhibitors together throughout the main floor, balcony level and stage areas,” said Robinson “We’re excited about showcasing so many of our businesses in a premier venue like the Performing Arts Center at Kent State Tuscarawas.”
Robinson noted that visitors will be invited to walk on the PAC stage to see the exhibitors located there and see the theater from the performer’s vantage point.
Expo visitors will be eligible to win door prizes, with drawings to be held every half hour culminating with a Blu-ray DVD player at 6 p.m. and a 42-inch HDTV at 6:30. No purchase is required to be in the raffle but winners must be present to claim their prize.
Premier sponsors for the Expo include The First National Bank of Dennison, Union Hospital, Premiere Satellite & Electronics, The Times-Reporter, Great Lakes Caring Hospice, and Frontier Communications.
There is no charge to attend the event but a ticket is required. Tickets can be picked up at any Expo sponsor or exhibitor location as well as the offices of the Tuscarawas County Chamber of Commerce in New Philadelphia.
