Modern Homemakers hold two meetings
Modern Homemakers held their meetings, one at Big Jim’s Burgers ‘n More and one at Dee’s Restaurant.
There were nine members present at the meeting at Big Jim’s on August 18. A discussion was held on decorating the Tuscarawas County Fair booth. Modern Homemakers are in charge of the fair booth this year.
The Taste of Home magazine article called “Dinner Quandary,” published by Jane Gartrell, our artist, was read.
The meeting at Dee’s Restaurant was held Sept. 1, with six members and one guest, including Britt Stratton, from Florida attending. The final discussion on the fair booth was decided. The theme being, “Make It Simple.” Barb White came with ideas and was appointed head of the fair booth. The spring luncheon plans will be decided at the next meeting. The next meeting will be announced.
