Help the community crown Miss Clayland 2012
Tickets for the 56th Miss Clayland Scholarship Program are now on sale at the Uhrichsville Elks and the Twin City Pharmacy in Dennison.
Join the community as they select Miss Clayland 2012. Ellen Bryan, Miss Ohio 2011 and Miss Clayland 2011, will perform and share mistress of ceremonies duties with Heather McDonald, Miss Clayland 2001.
The pageant will be held on Oct. 15, at Claymont High School in Uhrichsville. The show starts at 7 p.m. There is no reserved seating.
Cash scholarships totaling more than $2,700 will be awarded, as well as a $500 scholarship for Kent State University at Tuscarawas. The Miss Clayland Scholarship Program is a preliminary to the Miss Ohio/Miss America Scholarship programs and is presented by the Uhrichsville Elks.
