Alyssa Wallace named October Student of the Month
Alyssa Wallace
Alyssa Wallace, a senior in the Allied Health Science Technologies program, has been named Buckeye Career Center’s October Student of the Month. According to her instructor, Kelley Chapman, she “has demonstrated leadership ability in the classroom throughout her junior year and has maintained that into her senior year. She brings a fresh, positive attitude to the classroom daily. Alyssa’s compassion to help others drives her to deliver her skills with great ease.” Shawnna Kellar, her Language Arts instructor described her as “a diligent student; very responsible and mature.”
She is a SkillsUSA chapter officer and president of her Allied Health Science Technologies class. She serves as a great ambassador for the career center during associate school visits. Her home school is Claymont, where she is a varsity cheerleader. She is the daughter of Eric and Kim Wallace, of Dennison.
