To the Editor:

As you so graciously printed my letter to you last year regarding the Tuscarawas County Warm Up America program, I am writing again. Our afghan program has delivered over 105 afghans thus far to area nursing homes, i.e. Riverside Manor, Amberwood, Beacon Pointe, and many individuals who have had dire needs from fires, illnesses, and hospitalizations. The needs have vastly increased throughout the year.

We are in need of leftover or unused worsted yarn for our afghans throughout the year. We also welcome any interested persons who would enjoy assisting the 30-some members of our group to attend our monthly meetings at 6:30 p.m., the last Monday of each month in Room III at First Baptist Church, 878 Commercial Ave. SW, New Philadelphia.
