First Federal Community Bank has announced that the board of directors elected Michele Larkin for a promotion to senior vice president at its recent annual meeting.

Larkin has 30 years banking experience and has been with First Federal since 1998. She serves as the bank’s manager of mortgage banking and loan administration. She was initially involved in setting up the bank’s residential fixed rate mortgage program in 1998 and has overseen a significant growth in the size of the department. Over her tenure, First Federal has originated more than $220 million in fixed rate loans.

Larkin is a lifelong Tuscarawas County resident and graduate of Dover High School. She has received additional education through a significant number of various bank and bank industry training courses. She has been involved with the Tuscarawas County Board of Realtors and United Way of Tuscarawas County. She resides in Dover with her husband, Darrell, and daughters, Natalie and Nicole.
