Dennis Hershberger

Dennis R. Hershberger, 48, of Millersburg, died Nov. 1, 2011, at the Cleveland Clinic, following a one-year battle with leukemia.

Dennis was born Dec. 30, 1962, in Dover, to Henry and Alta Hershberger of Baltic. He was a milk truck driver for the Holmes Cheese Co. and a member of Grace Mennonite Church, Berlin. Dennis loved hunting, bird watching, and being outdoors. His favorite time of day was the morning and his favorite time of the year was the fall. He died on a fall morning.

Surviving are his wife, Joyce Hershberger, whom he married May 12, 1990; children, Samantha (Luke) Hall of Stow and Eric Hershberger of the home; sisters, Rhoda Hershberger of Baltic, Miriam (Allen) Beachy of Walnut Creek, Effie (Eli RR) Miller of Baltic, Cindy (John) Ridgeway of New Philadelphia, and Karen (Randy) Shull of Sugarcreek; and brother, Paul (Wilma) Hershberger of Baltic.

Services were held Nov. 4, at Grace Mennonite Church, Berlin, with Pastor Larry Kaufman officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
