Mud Run Stream Keepers are official

At the Oct. 5 meeting of the citizens within the Mud Run Watershed, a watershed group was born. The group is now known as the Mud Run Stream Keepers. Thanks to those attending many other decisions were also made, including the mission statement of the Stream Keepers, “The Mud Run Stream Keepers are a partnership dedicated to improving the quality of our watershed, rebuilding our ecosystem, and bettering our community.”

The Stream Keepers also discussed the future of the Mud Run Watershed and what the logo should look like. The logo is currently being designed by a volunteer, Marc Roy, based on the input of the group.

The Stream Keepers are off to a great start. The next meeting will be Dec. 7, at 6 p.m., in the Warwick Township building/fire station. All are welcome and encouraged to attend and bring ideas.
