Rachel’s Challenge school assembly to be held at Welty Middle School

A school assembly on Rachel’s Challenge will be held at Welty Middle School on Monday, Nov. 21, at 7 p.m. in the auditorium, to spread kindness and compassion throughout the building.

Rachel Joy Scott was the first person killed in the Columbine High School tragedy April, 20, 1999. She left behind an amazing legacy and a simple challenge to anyone who will accept it – treat others with kindness and compassion and you may change the world or community you live in.

Experience one of America’s largest character development programs, which has transformed millions of lives worldwide. Hear the true story of a remarkable young girl who believed her life would impact the world.

This community event is free, and all are welcome even if you have no children in school.

For more information regarding the assembly, contact the Welty Middle School Office at 330-364-0645.
