Born Dec. 23, 1952, in Wheeling, W.Va., Marsha was a daughter of Richard Walton Henry of St. Clairsville and the late Juanita Pearl Henry. A 1971 graduate of Garaway High School, where her classmates will remember her as a cheerleader, she went on to attend Mt. Union College before returning to the area. Marsha earned the nickname “Big Scoop” when she served ice cream at the Goshen Dairy Store, and later worked as a teacher’s aide at Miller Avenue Elementary, Sugarcreek.
Surviving are her stepmother, Phyllis Henry of St. Clairsville; daughter, Kimberly Marsh of New Philadelphia; sons, Jeremy (Lacey) Marsh and Andrew Marsh, both of Sugarcreek; a granddaughter, Serenity Marsh of Sugarcreek; brothers, Michael Henry (companion, Lisa Burgess) of New Philadelphia and Douglas (Mary) Henry of Dover; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Nov. 22, at 10 a.m., at Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory, New Philadelphia, with Pastor Larry Smithwick officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens, Colerain. Friends are invited to call Nov. 21, from 4-7 p.m.
