Kevin Patrick, 44, of New Philadelphia, died peacefully Dec. 11, 2011, at his home.

A son of Wiley Patrick of Sherrodsville and the late Jewell Goff, Kevin was born April 5, 1967, in Ann Arbor, Mich. He was a graduate of New Philadelphia High School and faced health challenges and illness throughout his life, many of which he was able to manage and overcome through the loving support of his family.

Kevin loved animals and enjoyed caring for his beloved dachshund, Mary, and looking after the neighborhood cats. He was a kind hearted individual who also held extensive knowledge of politics and music trivia; and was especially engrossed with Beatles lore and the late John Lennon.

In addition to his father, Kevin is survived by sisters, Jean Versano of Dellroy and Loretta Patrick of Cleveland; brother, Bob (Marcella) Patrick of Dellroy; nephews, Robert Patrick, Paul Patrick, Brad Patrick, Marc Geisinger, Jason Ohler, and David Versano; nieces, Stephanie Oryszak and Renee Berlyak; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Nora Ohler.

Private family services will be held at Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory, New Philadelphia. Private burial will follow in Ridgecrest Memory Gardens, Dover.
