Faith Christian Academy hosts food drive

submitted photo

Responding to a challenge from a small group at NewPointe Community Church, students at Faith Christian Academy worked to collect non-perishables to help a local community food bank. The students were challenged to seek donations from family, friends, and neighbors instead of just getting things from their cupboards at home. They responded by collecting 330 items. “Some of our students really took this challenge to heart,” said school administrator Steve Yoder. “They were really excited about helping others in the community.” The school had a similar food drive before Thanksgiving and plans another one around Easter.
