Larry McKee
Larry L. McKee, 71, of Dover, died peacefully Jan. 4, 2012, at his home, following a long illness.
Born May 26, 1940, in Columbus, Larry was a son of the late Ralph and Juanita McKee. He graduated in 1958 from Dover High School and went on to attend Ohio University. He served in the Ohio National Guard and was employed by the Greer Steel Co., from which he retired after 46 years.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Margaret Payne McKee; daughters, Lori (Richard) Patterson and Sheri (Phil) Smitley; grandsons, Joshua (Samantha) and Justin Patterson; brother, Philip McKee; brother- and sister-in-law, Wayne and Mary Burkhart; sister-in-law, Janet Payne; and nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, including a lifelong friend from the age of 2, Chuck Von Bergen.
The family will observe a private time of remembrance. Cremation has been entrusted to Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory, Dover.
