The Claymont Foundation, a not-for-profit, tax exempt volunteer organization that provides teacher grants, student scholarships and high school academic awards, is announcing that applications for academic scholarships are now available.

Claymont High School seniors can obtain the application from the high school guidance office.

Any graduate of Claymont who is going to be sophomore, junior, or senior in college for the 2012-13 school year is eligible to apply for a Claymont Foundation Collegiate Scholarship. The application can be accessed through the Claymont City School main Web page (www.claymont.k12.oh.us) under menu item Alumni Information.

The foundation awards approximately $40,000 annually to these scholarships.
