The Hiland baseball team extends an invitation to the public for its third annual pasta feed on Jan. 27 at the Hiland High School cafeteria, from 4:30-7 p.m., before the basketball game versus Tuscarawas Central Catholic. Mary Ellen Beechy will be serving her world famous pasta dishes, including spaghetti, lasagna and an alfredo pasta dish, along with salad and various desserts. Enjoy the Italian ambiance as Dean Martin, Tony Bennett and other crooners set a great mood in the candlelit aura that will make you think you’re in Italy — or at least in an Italian restaurant. The cost is donation-based, with all proceeds going to the Hiland baseball program. Carry-out will be available.
