According to NAE it is more important than ever to recognize and promote trail blazing, innovative, and winning businesses, and to present them to the public for what they are—the root of the American dream.
John Miller, president, accepted the award on behalf of the SUPERB team at the Champions of Free Enterprise gala at the Nemacolin Woodlands Resort in Farmington, Pa. “Obviously, we are honored to be recognized by NAE as an innovator and an organization that values people and community. Some have said, ‘Without customers we have no business.’ That’s true, but I say, ‘Without a SUPERB team customers will not give you business.”
SUPERB Industries, Inc. is a high volume producer of engineered plastic and metal components with affiliated operations in Walnut Creek, and a distribution center in Hong Kong, China. Recognized in 2011 by INC5000 as a fastest growing privately held company, SUPERB manufactured more than 122 million components in 2011 and shipped over 60 percent of them to low cost countries like Mexico and China. “Staying competitive globally through technological innovation and teamwork is a critical success factor,” stated Miller.
