Crews began work today to make repairs needed on state Route 212 near Zoar due to last spring’s flooding.

ODOT’s contractor, Dennison Bridge Inc., from Dennison, is performing consolidation grouting of voids left under the pavement due to pipe separation that occurred when there was high water.

Daily lane closures will occur. One way traffic will be maintained with portable traffic signals. This work is expected to be completed by next week.

The cost of this project is approximately $92,000 and also includes work on the County Road 4 bridge abutment over Interstate 77 south of Newcomerstown. No lane restrictions are associated with this work.
