Kindergarten registration for the 2012-13 school year is now underway. Students who are 5 years of age on or before August 1, 2012 will be eligible for kindergarten. Parents can register their children by accessing the New Philadelphia City Schools website at http://www.npschools.org.

After completing and submitting the forms online, the child will be scheduled for a screening appointment. Screening will take place March 19-23 at the “Quaker Dome.”

When parents bring their children to the screening, they will also need to bring the following:

- Any registration forms that were not submitted electronically online,

- Birth certificate, with seal,

- Child’s Social Security card or number.

- Proof of residence.

- Legal Documents (if applicable, pertaining to custody).

- Immunization records.
