Meet the Candidates scheduled for Feb. 13

A nonpartisan Meet the Candidates night will be held at the Tuscarawas Branch of Kent State University on Monday, Feb. 13, in Founders Hall.

The host group, Tuscarawas County Patriots of Liberty, has no association with a political party. The spokesman, Victor Roth from Dover, said, “We feel that every registered voter has an obligation to vet the candidates who seeks public office. Today, many of our elections are being decided by the independents and not the two parties. Since our primary election will be early this year, we felt a public event would allow all voters an opportunity to grasp where a candidates stand on issues that concern those they would represent and serve.”
