Dover Public Library is currently accepting submissions of original poetry from K-5 children to be published in its first-ever book of children’s poetry. Each author featured in the book will receive a free copy of the book and will be invited to a poetry reception, which will be held April 20 at 6 p.m., to share his or her poem with other attendees. Poems are due to the Dover Public Library by March 31. A parental consent form is required at the time of submission.

For more information, a list of guidelines or a printable consent form, visit www.doverlibrary.org/kids/poetry-celebration/ or stop by the children’s department at the library.

The Dover Public Library is located at 525 N. Walnut St., across from Dover High School.
