The Performing Arts Center at Kent State University Tuscarawas will have two shows of Erth’s "DINOSAUR ZOO LIVE" on Feb. 17 at 1 and 4:30 p.m.
Created in Australia, Erth’s "DINOSAUR ZOO LIVE" is an experiential theater production where the audience gets to meet a menagerie of insects, mammals and dinosaurs that once roamed the planet. Featuring a large-scale cast of life-sized dinosaur puppets, these dinosaur recreations connect children to paleontology in a fun and informative setting. This new production will feature 19 dinosaurs on stage including the triceratops, which Erth created uniquely for the North American tour.
Of Erth’s "DINOSAUR ZOO LIVE," the Chicago Tribune said it's "a delightful and educational date with the dinos that provides visual oomph to rival ‘The Lion King.’”
The New York Times said, “Erth’s 'DINOSAUR ZOO' delivers solid science as well as an extraordinary spectacle.”
The North American tour of Erth’s "DINOSAUR ZOO LIVE" is produced by Red Tail Entertainment, based in Dallas, Texas.
For the best seats in the theater, an exclusive preshow one on one with some of the dinosaurs and puppeteers in the show including a photo opportunity and an official "DINOSAUR ZOO LIVE" merchandise item, there is a VIP DINO PACK available for $52.
Tickets for Erth’s "DINOSAUR ZOO LIVE" start at $18 and are on sale now at the Performing Arts Center box office, by calling 330-308-6400 or online at www.kent.edu/tusc/pac. The box office is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Performing Arts Center’s 2017-18 season is sponsored by Michael Taylor Insurance and Financial Incorporated, an Allstate Agency.
Free parking is available for all shows. Kent State Tuscarawas is located at 330 University Drive NE in New Philadelphia.
