The Ohio State Alumni Club of Tuscarawas County will bring Jerry Lucas, former Ohio State basketball player, to Factory Street Pub & Grill on Wednesday, April 18 at 6:30 p.m.

Lucas has devoted his life to cultivating ideas and methods for fun and easy learning and memory retention. The resulting methods are now known as The Lucas Learning System and have earned him the title of Dr. Memory.

Lucas graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the Ohio State University, where he also excelled as an athlete. He became the only basketball player in collegiate history to lead the nation in field goal percentage and rebounding for three years, thus becoming the only three-time recipient of the Big Ten Player of the Year award.

Chosen seven times as an All-Pro during his professional basketball career, Lucas was named one of the 50 most outstanding NBA players of all time. Being inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 1979 was perhaps his crowning achievement as an athlete.

Lucas will speak upstairs at the Factory Street Pub & Grill. For additional information or to RSVP, call Martha Campbell at 330-340-0390 or email TuscarawasCoClub@osu.edu">TuscarawasCoClub@osu.edu by April 15. Seating is limited.

The Factory Street Pub & Grill is located at 205 N. Tuscarawas Ave. in Dover.
