Concert to feature local man's music

Members of the Tuscarawas Chapter of Ohio Music Teachers Association will present a free concert of music on Sunday, April 22 composed by the late Robert Vandall, a New Philadelphia resident who achieved international renown for his more than 500 published titles.
The program of all-Vandall piano music will take place at 3 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church, 201 W. High Ave., New Philadelphia, and will include a variety of solos and duet pieces performed by area piano teachers Mary Cooper, Erin Ohmart, Phyllis Ronald, Judith Schenker, Luci Shank, Karen Vandall, Susan Weaver and Melanie Winn. The performance will last approximately one hour, and the public is invited.
