Born Sept. 8, 1935, in Canton, Tootie was a daughter of the late Edward and Alice Erickson. She was self-employed, having run Tootie’s Ceramics for many years, and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Dover.

Paul was born Sept. 6, 1922, in Dover, the son of Orris F. and Gertrude Maurer. He was united in marriage to Sarah Badger on April 2, 1949. She died in1981.
